5 Press is an art collective based in Melbourne comprised of five members; August Carpenter, Cheralyn Lim, Sarah McConnell, Jaime Powell and Sophie Westerman. The collective was formed so the artists would have a framework in which to explore the medium of the artist book and fine art print, particularly focusing on handmade forms and traditional techniques.
At the fair, 5 Press will be showcasing five new artist books and will also have a curated selection of past book works and prints.
New books include titles No Great Barrier by Sarah McConnell, Land Mass by August Carpenter, The Waiting Room by Sophie Westerman, Trace I & Trace II by Jaime Powell, and Blue into Green, & Pink into Orange by Cheralyn Lim.

Lindsay is a biannual print and online magazine celebrating the importance of culture and place. It launched online in March 2017 and its first print issue was published in 2018. Founded and edited by Beth Wilkinson, Lindsay is an independent magazine created in collaboration with brilliant writers, photographers and artists from around the globe.

Deidre Brollo is an Australian artist whose practice primarily investigates the areas of memory, perception and temporality. Through the forms of printmedia, artists’ books, installation and performance, her work seeks to explore ways in which art might engage the viewer’s haptic memory and perception, as a means of co-opting the viewer’s own recollections as part of the process of meaning creation. Brollo draws strongly on print culture and its inherent ideas: the logic of the archive, the transmission of narrative, and the notion of exchange.
Her most recent installation timekeeper was shown in the exhibition BOOK CLUB, at Lake Macquarie Art Gallery in 2017.

Silent army is a project based collective working on contemporary small press comic art. Silent Army is a nonprofit organisation founded in 2002 that collects, studies and celebrates small press alternative comic books through workshops, live events, and on/offline projects.
